Well its been another great month in Tango Fleet and you all probably want to know about it so read on.... ................................................................................ VESSEL: USS Arizona Ship Report for the month of November, 2001. The month of November saw the Arizona begin a new mission. This one a deepspace exploration. An older Earth probe, sent out some 140 years ago and on its last legs, detected transmissions from a planet outside Federation borders. The probe's sensors and radio telescope were the only things left fully operational. It was still sending back reports, but at radio speeds. Eventually, the probe's signals reached a newer Federation probe which, in turn, relayed the signals to the nearest Federation starbase. SB432. Home to the USS Arizona. The transmissions the probe had picked up showed advertisements of a civilization that had advanced holographic technologies. The transmission themselves proved not to be the true forms of this mysterious planet's inhabitants. No more is known as the old probe had finally disintegrated in a different planet's atmosphere from a decaying orbit. The Arizona is sent Upon arriving at the planet, the study of the species begins under the operational control of Chief Science Officer Mandy Chekov and her department. Initial observations conclude that the planet is capable of supporting life, but atmospheric conditions are a little harsh. The natives, though, had managed to survive without any complications. The planet has a massive energy grid that is used to power their homes and other things. The power is tapped through geo-thermal and wind assisted methods providing an immense amount to draw from. This power is also used to maintain a holographic world of some sort as well. Further research shows the planet to have 3 different yet distinct species, all of which are intelligent. One, called the Demons, because of their demon-like appearance complete with red skin. The second, termed Little Fella's(LF), because of their smaller size, small scaling in places and blue colored features. The third race, termed "Angels", are an enigma as they appear to be a thriving, virtual race residing in the planet's global-wide holo-world matrix called "Mu". There is also a mysterious fourth party, who's identity has yet to be determined, that has a secret installation near the main alien city. Its existence doesn't appear to be known by the Demons of LF's. This place is stealing power from the planet-wide power grid to power whatever it is they are doing in there. Information gathered by the science department propels the investigation onto the next phase where the Az crew sends a team down to the surface to establish a temporary base of operations and observations in a section the sewer system. Lieutenant Bedford, CoS, leads a covert team down to clear the way for the science and engineering team which will follow. Once the post is established, further observations ensue. Ensign Gra'el has a holographic encounter with a member of the alien race. It was purely accidental as the holo-being had managed to hack her way into the ship's systems as the science officer was working. Nothing comes of the encounter as the holo-being, Tara, believed Gra'el to be another holo-being. At that point, Another encounter on the surface see's Ensign Gra'el acquire an implant of some kind. How that happened is unclear, however, it seems the implant can provide a link to the "Mu" world. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Chekov(CSO) and Lieutenant Commander Carter(CoO) finish programming three holo-spies creations to release into the holo-world and study the "Angel" species there. The programs seem to be running well as they begin gathering much information on the "Mu" world. After a nearly a couple of weeks observation, a third phase, that of finding a place for a permanent observation post for future studies by a science crew sent from starfleet, begins. With the universal translators having finally managed to process the aliens' strange syntax, Captain Crowley and an away team head down to the surface, in native disguises, to find one. At the same time, Commander Jaxx(XO) assembles a second team to further investigate the mysterious fourth party and the secret installation. Lieutenant Chekov(CSO) also puts together an away party to closer observe the natives and the planet they live on. Lieutenant Chekov(CTO) remains on the ship in charge. VESSEL: USS AHyperion Ship Report for the month of November, 2001. The Hyperion was still battling with the Race. Brend'ell is injured when the Diplomatic deck has damage done and starts a fire. The fighters return to the Hyperion when the Race Emperior orders the Race to stand down. Osron and Azul go to the Eyri hears about Brend'ell's injuries and rushes to sickbay where he's in a coma. She sits by his side trying to bring him out. Thomas arrives to his and Hannah's quarters and finds Hannah sitting on the couch in a state of shock. He goes over and In the Conference room, The Race Emperior and the Man In Black explain that the invasion was not sanctioned by the Emperior. The Man in black explains how he got ahold of the borg spheres. He also explained why the Emperior had asked for the man in black's help. Brandel tries to talk the Man in Black into selling(giving) the borg spheres, but the man in black declines. He then leaves, leaving Brandel alone with the Race Emperior. The Emperior pleads in Reyaga's defense. Then requests that hebe beamed over to one of his ships. Endu brings a report to Brandel and entices him to dinner he is unable to that night because of a dinner date with Sumrak, but he agrees to the next night to a dinner in the mess hall. West makes his way back to the Hyperion on the shuttlecraft. Seriva tries to explain to Frank that what he did on the holodeck isn't the right thing to do, that she will work on dealing with the problem. On Starbase 375, Petty Officer Shokan Kurtz is busy in engineering then when she is done, she goes and has some drinks and meets with a friend. Brandel receives a PADD fro Andrews with all the damage done from the Invasion. He also receives another PADD ordering the Hyperion to Risa for shoreleave and refitting. Brandel orders Pretor to notify the crew that the Hyperion would leave for shore leave on Risa. Hannah and Thomastalk about their marriage and if it's salvageable. Thomas Brandel has a nice evening alone with Sumrak. She makes his favorate dish for him in her quarters. Hannah then gets a call from Brandel to report to his ready room. She leaves and goes to his ready room where she is promoted to LT CDR. After that she leaves to go back to her quarters but instead is reminded by Sumrak of their holodeck appointment. Meanwhile on another holodeck, Osron, Brend'ell and Eyri are enjoying a time in antartica when something happens and causes everything to Shokan says goodbye on starbase 375 and heads for Risa and the USS Hyperion who has arrived at Risa. Azul isn't too happy when he hears about the MARC program that has been ordered to the Hyperion to help with her refit. Strazzco, before going down to Risa, has a memorial service for the fighter pilots that died during the invasion. He then goes down to Risa for some R & R. At Risa, the Hyperion picks up three new crew besides getting the MARC program, they are Ensign Michael Penninga, who takes the departing Skeksis' place as chief tactical officer, Ensign Von Zidane,a fighter pilot, and PO2 Shokan Kurtz, a scientist's and engineers mate. Brandel has his "business" dinner with Endu in the mess Hall. They talk about fathers and Regillian rituals and how they're simular to earth rituals. During the meal, Brandel is called by the MARC program and told about the Holodeck problems. Brandel and Endu leave to try and fix the situation. First Debbie, then Frank head to holodeck 2 to try and fix the problem. The USS Hyperion, on shoreleave to Risa had to battle penguins on the holodeck. Brandel, who was visiting with his brother, Stacy Vandergift, Sumrak's cousin and Sumrak is called away about the penguin troubles. He gets to the holodeck and with the help of Endu, Frank and Marc, they were able to turn off the holodeck and all holoprograms including the holonanny Seriva and Hannah gather up their children and go down to Risa to do some shopping. Frank starts the supervision of the repairs and then he and Thomas after all the crew are evacuated go and join their wives on Risa. Captain Brandel spends time with his brother, Kiara and her cousin on Risa. They enjoy their time together. Hannah and Thomas celebrate their first year Strazz spends time on Risa flying and just enjoying himself. He runs by Hannah and Seriva when they were out shopping. Seriva and Frank also enjoy some family time together. The new crew arrive and a party is started. Osron, Debbie, Brend'ell, Zidane, and Eyri participate in the party. On the Hyperion, Endu works on restoring Mindy to the new EMH program to try and score some points with the XO. After spending time with their respective relatives, Kiara and Michael head to the Valentine Inn and are given the honeymoon Bishop receives an incoming transmission from an Admiral Stevens who needs to talk to Brandel Unable to get Brandel on the COMM, Bishop contacts Hannah. Hannah has them locate where Brandel is and then she goes to the hotel and contacts him from the lobby and gives him the message. Brandel who is "Rather busy" orders Hannah to go take the call from the Admiral and to contact him back if it's important. Hannah takes the call and the Hyperion crew are recalled from shoreleave and sent to DS9 for further orders. Hannah sends out the recall and then helps Thomas bring up the twins. Brandel and Kiara say good-bye to their relatives and also return to the Hyperion. Thomas, after returning to the Hyperion goes to check on sickbay and sees that the Hyperion was missed during the refitting. He contacts Hannah to come look and then contacts Frank to have engineering get to sickbay to fix it up. He then asks to have the cargo bay ready just in case. Serin goes to sickbay to talk about her medical file, and on the way runs into Hannah. She Hannah after her duty is over, decides to throw a dinner party for the senior staff to try and help her to get to know them Clarification: I need to clarify something from the Hyperion's last report that may have confused some people. I had mentioned about a ship named the Masada. It was not the Masada that had recently left Tangofleet. The Masada that was mentioned in the Hyperion's newsletter was a Masada that had disappeared and was then declared destroyed. So that it could then let the Masada name go to a different ship. There was no intention that we were referring to the Masada from TF. I appologize if it made anyone upset. LT CDR Hannah O'Halloran - XO NEW CREWMEMBERS: DEPARTING CREWMEMBERS: PROMOTIONS: COMMENDATIONS: ==END REPORT== Hannah O'Halloran, LT CDR ................................................................................ STATION: SB Tango *Cardassia* Gul Miyel denis that LT CDR Vre and her science team are on the station and the base has a damping field up that prevents scanning. So LTcdr Mahon overloads the damping field with the deflector dish and then knocks out the shield generator and beams in with the security and Marine cadets to rescue the away team. The teams locate all the away team except for LTCDR Vre. LTCDR Vre is found along with 2 cardassian Scientist who are being help prisoner. It is also discovered that all the scientist working on the station where kidnapped. So the Faulkner sets them free. They notify starfleet about the science station and head home. **End of mission** *Hydrans* The yeager and Hydan Return firs. The hydran ship is destroyed in the fire fight. The Yeager picks up the Survivor's. Meanwhile the Shuttle from the Yeager landed in the shuttle bay of the Frenegi ship. LT Carter Meets with the Daemon Pott who demands more money for his ship having to be in battle and a tax for carrying the Hydran Delegates. Cadet Serin was Cadet's Serin and Kinsbergen escape from the Frenegi While lt carter is in another meeting with the Daemon. Lcdr Azul was able to rescue his people and the Hydran delegates from the frenegi ship and the yeager is headed back to the academy. **End of mission** *Search & Rescue* The Uss Argylle arrives at the planet Iliria and discovers that the Uss Evenstar has crashed into the surface of the planet. LTCDR Kien and away team are sent down to the planet Via Shuttle crafts because the planet atmosphere prevents the use of Transporters. The away team makes to the crash site in a type 7 shuttle. While searching the crash site they found No Survivors but it found evidence that the local inhabinits of the planet had visited the crash site. Cadet nightheaven tries to return to the Argylle in the shuttle but the storms gets rough and his shuttle is hit by a lighting bolt so he crash lands on the planets surface. Lt Sonra orders Cadet Baliya to take another shuttle down to the planets surface to pick up the Away team. Meanwhile the away team runs into some natives inside the down everstar. They where able to escape the Natives. But cadet Naala had removed her helmet and exposed herself to the Biochemical's in the ship. *Culture Shock* *Leviathan* Security discovers that there has been a rash of robbers at the base lately so they set a trap to caught the robbers.
